Background
Kyle is an artist, musician, educator, and mentor fusing his education and passion for music and the arts. His undergraduate work is in Business Administration – Marketing from California State University, Fullerton and his graduate studies in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. Throughout college he used his business experience as Marketing Manager for The Dealers, including booking concerts, album promotions, and social media campaigns. Kyle interned with the Bowers Museum Marketing Department promoting upcoming museum exhibitions, adult and senior learner events, and children’s activities. He served as Co-Producer of College Web Media Music and Mentoring Festival, which provided college students mentoring opportunities from entertainment industry professionals and built partnerships with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, Musicians Institute, Cliff Bar, Monster Energy, and local businesses. Currently, Kyle is the General Manager of Tustin Music Center, home to music education in the greater Orange County area, which teaches band, orchestral, and musical theatre programs to over 400 weekly students.
Kyle teaches guitar, ukulele, and band classes with students ranging from 4 – 70 years old. He has mentored students from Orange County School of the Arts, Waldorf School of Orange County, and Berklee College of Music. His philosophy inspires students to realize their own potential and believes in teaching valuable life skills through music. His ultimate goal is their success. Kyle performs with the rock band Bootlegger throughout Southern California and has performed at venues including House of Blues, Whisky a Go Go, OC Fair, Coach House, The Observatory, and more.
Personally, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife Kendra and Yellow Labrador Henry. He enjoys mountain biking, painting, drawing, traveling, and is an avid car enthusiast. Kyle is also an Eagle Scout and volunteers his time as a Music and Art Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts of America.
